3. Keep an eye for the error message to pop every time you close a  program
4. Once you find out which program was causing the issue, reinstall it to fix the problem

Step 2: Reinstall the problematic program 

Once you have identified the problematic app, you can fix the quicken error code 7024 by reinstalling them with the help of the following steps:

1. Windows 7-Go to the Start Button and open Control panel then ‘Uninstall a program’
2. For Windows 8- Click the Start Button, then select ‘More Settings’ from where you can open the control panel to uninstall the program
3. Windows 10- Simply type Control Panel on the search box and click the result post which you can Uninstall a program
4. Once you reach the Programs and Features, click the infected program and then select either Update or Uninstall
5. If you wish to update then you will just need to follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the process. However, if you want to Uninstall then you will have to use the application’s installation disk to reinstall the program

Step 3: Re-install runtime libraries

You are likely to face the error because of an update, like the MS Visual C++ package which might not be installed correctly or entirely. 3. You can also run Disk Cleanup by opening the explorer window and right click your main directory which is normally the C drive
4. Click on ‘Properties’ and then select ‘Disk Cleanup’

Step 5: Runtime error related to Internet Explorer 

If you are facing an error due to the Internet Explorer, then you should do the following:

1. Reset the browser by going to the control panel and then choose the internet options then click on ‘Advanced’ and then select ‘Reset’
2. Once you reset it, disable the script debugging and error notifications
3. You can do it by going to the internet option and then select ‘Advanced’ option then search for ‘Disable script debugging’
4. Tick the box next to the radio button and while you at it, uncheck ‘Display a Notification about every Script Error’ and then hit ok
5. Reboot your laptop/desktop once it is done
